Privacy Policy

The Student Follow Privacy Policy describes how we treat personal information provided by you when you use Student Follow products and services. In addition, the following describes our additional privacy practices specific to Student Follow.

We will record information about activity – such as posts you comment on and the other users with whom you interact – in order to provide you and other users with a better experience on Student Follow services.

Student Follow may also collect information about you from other users, such as when someone comments about you. Users may choose to display information about you publicly. This may include displaying your public profile name and photo on their Student Follow Profile in a list of their friends they’ve recently added.

Posts and other information that you have shared – may be visible with those the content has been shared.

Photos

When you upload a photo to Student Follow, we will store that content. If you do not want us to store information associated with your photos, please remove that data before uploading the content.

You may access your account settings – which includes privacy settings – under your Account Settings Tab. You may also change the settings for notifications we send to you.

You can select which items you want to send in Student Follow. Recipients of a post may be able to see information about the other people who have received it. Participants added to a group conversation may be able to see the history of that conversation. Also, keep in mind that when you share information through Student Follow, those who have received it may share it with others.

User Content and Conduct Policy

Student Follow policies are important to us, because maintaining a positive experience for you, is one of our primary objectives. Please adhere to these policies when using our products and services. When we become aware of a potential policy violation, Student Follow will review and take action, including limiting or terminating a user’s access to our Services.

1. Child Protection

Do not distribute content that takes advantage of children, for example child pornography or content that depicts or displays children in a sexual manner.

2. Profile Name

To aid in fighting spam and prevent fake profiles, use the name your family and friends normally call you. For example, if your legal name is John Smith, but normally use a nickname or Joe Joe, either of those would be fine.

3. Discriminating Communication

Do not disseminate information that encourages violence or hatred concerning groups of people based on their race or ethnic origin, disability, religion, age, gender, or sexual orientation.

4. Criminal Actions

Do not use Student Follow to engage in any illegal behavior or encourage dangerous and or illegal acts.

5. Malicious Content

Do not transmit malware, viruses, or any other malicious or destructive material. Do not promote or distribute content that interferes with the operation of Student Follow’s networks, servers, or other infrastructure.

6. Individual and Confidential Content

Do not distribute other people’s personal and confidential information such as but not limited to, confidential national ID numbers, credit card numbers, account passwords, or any other personal information without their permission.

7. Sexually Explicit Material

Do not share or display content that contains any nudity, or sexually explicit material, this also includes your Profile Picture. Do not drive traffic to any pornographic sites.
